Draft for legal review. This text will be finalized by counsel before CPRCyber launches.
1. The CPRCyber Alerts program
CPRCyber Alerts are automated text messages and phone calls sent on behalf of an organization that uses CPRCyber to the people on its team: employees, incident response team members and other contacts it works with. Messages carry incident and emergency alerts, test alerts, requests to confirm that you received an alert, and replies to those alerts. They are not marketing messages.
2. How you opt in
CPRCyber sends alerts only to people who have agreed to them. If you sign in to CPRCyber, you opt in by ticking “Send me CPRCyber alert texts and calls” on My profile, or by choosing Yes when CPRCyber asks after your first sign-in. If you don't sign in, an organization's admin can add your name, email and mobile number, and CPRCyber emails you an invitation; you opt in by choosing Yes on the page its link opens. Admins cannot opt you in. We record when you agreed and for which number, and a new number needs a new opt-in. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
What each opt-in looks like (sample names and number):

3. Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your organization's incidents, tests and exercises. Message and data rates may apply.
4. How to opt out or get help
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving CPRCyber Alerts. You will get one message confirming that you have opted out, and alert texts and calls to that number stop. To opt back in, reply START and then tick the box on My profile again, or ask your organization to resend your invitation.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@cprcyber.com.
- You can also opt out at any time by unticking the box on My profile, or by asking your organization.
5. Delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messages depend on your mobile carrier and coverage, so CPRCyber also offers voice call and email alerts.
6. Privacy
We do not share mobile numbers or opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information, and our Terms of Service.
